Calculator inputs stay on your device

Every calculation on CalcToolVault runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. The values you enter — income, loan balances, body measurements, network addresses — are never transmitted to our servers, because the calculation does not happen on a server. We do not store, log, or have any ability to see what you type into a calculator.

Information we do collect

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical request data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages requested. This is used for security and aggregate traffic analysis only, and is not linked to any individual identity.

We do not operate user accounts, we do not ask for your email address, and we do not sell or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and advertising

CalcToolVault is supported by display advertising. Third-party advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies generally at aboutads.info/choices.

Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, advertising cookies are only set after you have given consent. Consent is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform that operates under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, which tells you which vendors are involved and what each one wants to do with your data before anything is stored.

You can change or withdraw that consent at any time, and doing so is no harder than giving it: use the Privacy & cookie settings link in the footer to reopen the consent dialog and change your choices. That link only appears for visitors the rules apply to, so you will not see it elsewhere in the world.

Withdrawing consent does not remove advertising from the site; it means the ads you see are non-personalised, chosen from the page you are on rather than from a profile built across sites.

Some links on this site may be affiliate links, which are disclosed where they appear. How that works, and the line between advertising and the calculators themselves, is set out in the advertising and affiliate disclosure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or the CCPA to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you. Because we do not maintain user accounts or store calculator inputs, the personal information we hold is limited to the technical request logs described above. To exercise a right or ask a question, use the contact form.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
